Take a sheet of cloth and fold it from all four corners. Keep the stalk in the folding sheet and hold it with both hands. Hit the stalk over a big rock again and again, you will see after a few attempts the kernels will be there in the cloth. Untie the cloth and gather the kernels. The rest stalk will remain in the cloth and it is of no use. The stalk is the basically our need, so store it into sacks or containers.
