Here we have first chapter of Biology for 9th class. This chapter is about introduction of biology. Biology is the branch of science, when man was created; he started to learn more and more. With passage of time, he learnt about science, and this science was classified into categories Physics, Chemistry and Physics. According to the video tutorial, the Biology is defined as study of all living organisms. The word Biology is derived from two Greeks word “Bio” as “life” and “Logos” is meant as study or discussion. Before going ahead in depth of Biology, let me tell you about Biology’s branches; Botany and Zoology. The former is the scientific study of plants whereas the later is about animal study.
